2013 Mindfulness Workshop

On May 17, members of the Mindfulness in Law Joint Task Force will meet for a half-day mindfulness workshop where we will together explore mindfulness insights and exercises in a relaxing and inspired setting.

The workshop will serve to provide a foundation level understanding (and reminder) of what mindfulness is and the benefits that flow from the cultivation of mindful awareness in everyday life.

Peppered throughout the program are experiential mindfulness practices including, mindful sitting, mindful eating, mindful movement, and mindfulness and silence.

The program runs from 8:30 to 1:30, allowing participants the opportunity to integrate what they have learned and cultivated into the remainder of the day, whether at work, home, or in an environment selected to further absorb and reflect on the morning's program.
